Sweet Potato Fries


CARB UP!!! Sweet potato fries are super ordinary I know!
But they still belong on my list of recipes as it's a crazy obsession of mine.. 
This is one my absolute favorite sources of carbs and it's hard for me to stop once I get started, lol :D I love 'em because not only are they beyond awesome when they're just PLAIN but add a little spice or different herbs and it's a whole new dish, snack, side - whatever your heart desire..

I love them because you can;

cook, steam, juice, fry or eat them raw!

They're a good source of fiber if you eat them with the skin on which I personally always do. It might be my favorite part. They're good for your skin as they are high in vitamin A and an excellent source of copper, manganese, potassium & vitamin B while also being low glycemic.

They taste amazing cold, and therefore make a great to go snack (if you don't eat them all at once, like me)


SWEET POTATOS!!!! (and lots of 'em)
Olive oil
Salt & Pepper

How To:

Preheat the oven to 350 F. Cut your potatoes into fries and toss them in a bowl with olive oil, salt & pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet in one layer for best results - otherwise they tend to get mushy and you'll end up with a baked mashed potato style dish, lol.. - that would be a different recipe.

Cook them for about 45 min till they're golden brown.
