Brussels sprouts! You either hate 'em or love 'em... so which one is it?
I personally love them but I know most people don't. Often people buy them and have no idea what to actually do with them.. Some greens just look cute and pretty in the store and so you buy them and think...what the heck am I gonna do with these.. ( or am I the only one that does stuff like that?) haha..
I got so hungry before eating/making these that i could barely wait.. i hadn't even turned on the oven and i was so hungry i was about to panic ( a combination of trying to film this - realizing i didn't charge the camera battery, sporadically trying to charge it for 5 minutes while daniel wanted me to play photographer for him and the list goes on..) I JUST WATED TO EAT! so basically i was supposed to first cut and rinse, then cook them in a pan - one layer, facing down, then bake, then add balsamic... LET'S BE REAL!!! Ain't no one got time for that when you just wanna EAT! SO... i did it the lazy way. mixed everything up, left out the garlic (which i would normally add) and threw it in a baking tray, cooked it & ate it. Done! lol.. so today, i'll be sharing with you, the lazy way! Let's just title it; for the busy mom.. :)
- Olive oil
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Salt & pepper
- Brussels sprouts - as many as your heart desire (i used about 2 handful)
- 1 clove of garlic, finely chapped (if you got time) ;P
Preheat the oven to 400F. Wash and clean your brussels sprouts and make sure all bugs are gone! Cut them in half and put them in a baking tray. Cover with about 2 tbs of balsamic and ACV and 1 tbs of olive oil. Add a dash of salt & pepper and mix it well. Bake for about 30 min!
